Have you ever wondered what it was actually like to live back in the Dark Ages? Ever watch a film about King Arthur or Henry V and wish you could go back and see what it was REALLY like then? With KnightHaven you can!
KnightHaven is a medieval recreation business that focuses on the historical time period from about 900-1500 AD. KnightHaven is interested in enjoying the flavor of this era, so activites cover a diverse range of cultural and artistic interests and are planned for the enjoyment, entertainment as well as the education of participants and spectators.
The fellowship involves community members in a fun, adventurous role-playing set of exercises to simulate chivalry, honor, combat and status as is typical of the medieval period. These games and mock battles are played out in a public arena for all participants and onlookers to enjoy.
Over time, the fellowship was called upon to demonstrate medieval costume, language, swordplay and way of life, at public events, schools and corporate gatherings. These demonstrations are fun, informative, and entertaining.
Starting in 2010, KnightHaven returned as a bold, exciting new company that offers these demonstrations once again, and is developing new ways to further promote the medieval way of life as a fun way to experience and learn our history. For further information please contact us! |
